Utah Obscura, Part 4 is online. The final part, so if you've been waiting until they are all published to watch, now's your chance! ;-)

Here is my expo in progress jeep.

I still have my airbags, VDP front bumper corners and MBRP tire brackets to mount. Roof rack is next. Going with the rhino rack system for low profile easy mounting.

and my tablet for nav and stuff.

How does the rhino rack compare to the Gobi? I have the Gobi stealth on my 07 JKU, but am looking for something for my 15 JKU WW.

Rhinorack is basically the AEV rack but instead of mounting to the roll bars it mounts to the roof so it is easy to take the hardtop off. It has internal supports.

I don't remember the carrying weight of the rhinorack, but it should be the same as MBRP, but not as high as AEVs. Personally I really like the look and design of the rhinorack, but it is not cheap.

Actually, the rhino rack has over 500 lbs static capacity.

Clark- thank you for your contributions. Thats a solid organization from my understanding.

Mark - just caught up on the series. Great as usual!

We've had a fun spring out East. One of the highlights was being asked by Mountain State Overland to join them & a couple others on a 4 states, 4 days trip through Appalachia.

We covered a lot of ground and wide variety of terrain ranging from sketchy technical track to scenic dirt roads. All of us enjoyed the team work and a true sense of adventure in the mountains from not knowing what was around the next switchback.

MSO will be releasing video of the trip and trail maps in the near future.

Here are a couple pics. More on our or MSO's social media if you're interested.

Looks like a great trip! Look forward to MSO's video and, most especially, a trail map. As for the picture, when folks ask me how many MaxTrax they should buy, I tell them "Two, as long as a buddy of yours is also carrying two." I think I'll save this picture to show them one more reason why!

If this is the trip you're talking about, it's definitely going on my bucket list. http://www.mountainstateoverland.com...tates-in-4days
