right now, my trailer wheels/tires match my Jeep tires, so I have one spare and very good tire repair kit with on board air.
The trailer weight is around 1200lbs, full loaded, so the trailer tires don't carry a lot of weight.

Now if I sell the Jeep and go to something else, that will be a new problem.

Friend helped me fabricate a custom crossmember for the MBRP front rack extension. Tire is held on by a screw handle we built. Weight of tire on rough roads broke one of the welded-in threaded inserts that came on the rack, so replaced all four of those with something a bit heavier.

Any potential in this do you think? Not a modded Jeep, but a towable. At least if the price is right... "Very stout trailer, frame is made out of 2x3 and 2x4 3/16 C channel. 2" receiver tongue runs the length of the trailer. Box frame is all 1" angle with 20g skins on the sides, 16g on the bottom. Utility cap is off of a Ford Ranger. 2 keys for utility cap, all locks work. Comes with pintle hook. Home built trailer. Asking $1000 OBO. Trades considered. Want it gone, please make an offer."

Interesting idea. Could be good start for the right price. Does it have any better pics of the mounts to axle? How do the leafs look?

Looks pretty cool to me, don't know how much I'd pay for it but assuming no rust and suspension is good it would make a very nice overland trailer

Just installed The Pronghorn Overland Gear MFES C5-S. Still have to install my winch and waiting on new lights for it but I have to say so far I am very impressed. The build quality and fit are second to none, great finish, everything lined up perfectly. They have done a great job.
