Front BUMPER comparison
Here are some pics of the bumper thus far...
Christmas came early this year:

Unpacking the goodies:

Finally, my bumper has arrived:

Turn signal slots and ARB logo, soon to be removed:

Let the welding begin:

And finally the line-x:

Now comes the hard part - installation!!!

Does that ARB come with tabs on the winch bar? If so, did you keep the tabs, or grind them off?
I am not familiar with Line-X at all. Can you control the amount of "crinkle" in the finish? In other words, can you make the grains smaller?
Looks great! Can't wait to see it installed.

Yes, for lights, or as one guy has demonstrated, for a Hi-Lift jack.

I didn't use Line-X, but did add an overcoat of Duplicolor bedliner, which isn't as "rough" as some of the Line-X applications I've seen. You can buy the stuff in a spray can at your FLAPS.

Looks awesome man and can't wait to see it on. I have been lamenting about what front bumper to get. Who new it would be so hard to decide. So many great choices out there.
So many to stay away from too!
I have to plug the Purejeep again..
its with stood two wrecks,
the first wreck my wife rear ended a car, the bumper had some scratches the car was totalled.
The second crash. The combined speed was probley around 45 mph. We totalled a PT crusier and My JK. The frame was bent, the engine and tranny cracked snd the front axle was trashed. The bumper was hit at angle from head on.
the bumper did get tweaked a little bit, but I'm still going to run it on my new JK.
