kb7our - did you do something special (i.e., plate, bracket) in order to use the hawse fairlead, or is the AEV setup for that option? Thanks.

I believe so. I keep thinking of more things that "need" coating - I think this stuff is addictive or something.

No, just pulled off the original unused roller fairlead and cable (both for sale) and bolted on the X-Line. Since my bumper was already fully mounted it was challenging to get the hawse bolts in from the back as there is not much space so only short ones will work. Bolting from the front would be easier for this reason. Now if you are mounting the fairlead during install before the winch is in place then you have plenty of room to get to the back side. I'm very pleased with the overall install.

WOW,, what a great thread !! There sure are alot of options. I just need to figure out which bumpers would work with a towing setup for behind a motorhome.
I sure do like that ARB and the smitty bilt. And that new Mopar with the light cut outs is nice also.
