Kiddos and I spent Saturday at Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

 

Time with the kids is always time well spent. You probably know this already, but there are parts of Palo Duro Canyon outside the park that are occasionally opened for off-roading. I've never done that, though I've hiked within the park a bit during my travels.

 

I agree, Mark. It was good to see them enjoying themselves, especially since my previous job (don't let your kids go into the news biz) kept me away from them so much.

I'm aware a couple of private ranches open up their land to Jeepers here and there, though from what I've read, what they make available is a good bit above my and my Jeep's capabilities.

Give me a shout the next time you make it down this way. We'll give you the nickel tour or maybe just hang out, wheel, etc.
