One other thing I should mention is that I used a 400w inverter I had laying around and made my own harness for it. The connector for the inverter plug is available from Mopar and is p/n 68087924AA. With that, it is simple to make your own harness to route to an existing inverter you may have (or purchase). I have the inverter laying under the passenger seat for now. I will mount it a bit more securely later this spring, I just haven't decided where or how yet.

Do you keep your roof off in the summer time? I was thinking of mounting an inverter up and into the framing of the passenger seat but its been a cold, cold winter so haven't put much time into it. That way it would be off the floor in case you take on any water from rain / fording.
EDIT: Nice find on the plug as well!
Have to mention again, great thread! Copied a few ideas from here already

I don't usually keep it off all summer. We have a saying here in Michigan, "Don't like the weather? Wait 15 minutes". I'm with you though on the thought of mounting it to the underside of the passenger seat. When I had the seat out to install the heating elements, I should have don't it then as I think there was enough room to put it there and get it up off the floor.
Another day, another bolt-on.
My 42" Hi-Lift came in yesterday so I tossed it up on the Teraflex mount to see how she fit. Not bad actually!
The Teraflex kit came with the mounting hardware but after getting it mounted up I will likely replace the bolts/nut/washers with stainless since they are exposed to the elements.
A point to note if you have or intend to go with this combination. Ensure the lift is at the lowest possible position when mounted. Otherwise when you open the tailgate you risk hitting the tail light with it!
Two other things I will add to this are some sort of lock to keep my jack from walking away and a "handle keeper" as the handle rattles a lot up against the jack itself.

- Costs:
* 42" Hi-Lift - $74

I just wanted to add that your write up on adding ATC was spot on! We had some nice weather on Long Island today and I decided to give the wiring a shot. Sadly my soldering skills are awful so I went with mechanical taps and connectors instead. Worked first try!
Thank you for putting all the pieces of this puzzle together!

Well, since I have the sun sensor that supports it, I'm contemplating automatic headlamps. Think it's doable? If so any idea on the part number for the multifunction switch with the "auto" option. I was looking them up and it actually looks like there are a few different part numbers, hate to get the wrong one.

Yeah, I have the part number at home but I'm on a business trip until Friday so I can post it up for you this weekend. As you can see, I bought and installed the new switch but it doesn't work properly. If you set it to auto, the lights come on regardless if it is day or night. I'm thinking there is a Sales Code that needs to be scanned in by the dealer to make it function. Do you know any competant dealers that could confirm that?

In the meantime, I wonder if you have the correct sun sensor.
There is one that just powers the ATC, and another that does the ATC and auto headlamps.

That's the one! I'll stop by the dealer and ping them later this week to see if they have any input.
