i'm waitin on delivery of a Red-Rock hood ... :crossesfingersitshipssoon: ... along with a battery tray and one rear LCA. i'm guessin the red fender will be black before it arives though.

d-ring tabs are in the mail.

i'm waitin on tires/wheels/swingout to arive at the 4WD warehouse so i can go pick them up.

i have to find/order a set of brackets that bolt to the rollbar to attach the soft top to.

new windshield installed.

from there is just a matter of boltin stuff in ... a little paint work ... gettin insurance ... and gettin it past inspection for the Rebuilt title. it should all happen pretty soon

i need to fab up a 3rd brake light mount too ...

only thing i think i'd be searching for is a set of axles with 4.10s ... or gears and carriers

ok, so here are the pics, she is sittin at ride height on the jack stands. i didn't bother to install the rear adjustable trac bar yet ... i might not. the sway bar disco's are lame and didn't come with install hardware. the stock links only have 2 bolts that you can re-use ... had to keep one out to buy more.

the stock tire is sitting both on the ground and then on the axle ... just a little comparison.

I've been watching this build and I'm happy for you to be able to take it out with the top down on or off-road! As someone that rolled a Jeep and sent it to the boneyard it's nice to see one come back to life. It has really gone back together pretty fast. I know you have worked hard to get it together and pulled parts from everywhere. Smokin deals on just about everything!!! Thanks for posting the pics for all of us. We all have watched and cheered you and all your effort. Dad gets a nod too since he's been advising

yeah, got bored after my g/f went home at like 11 ... went out and installed the rear Xenon flares. what a task that was! i didn't like the idea of the nut-certs at first but turned out great. the frares fit great. cutting down the inner plastic made a hell of a mess ... i used the grinder with a cut-off ...

in the end, i have the stock ~31" tires on there with a 2" lift and Xenon flares. thing looks absolutly rediculous, just CRYING for the 35's to arive. and hell, even those might not fill it out the way i want. really glad i opted for the 2" spring vs the 3.25!

left it with the rear on the ground just beggin to go

one more thought ... i'm weary to see how it drives with the 35s and 3.21 gears ... not sure it'll be able to get out of its own way ...

anyone out there running a 6spd, 35s, and 4.56 gears?? hows it drive??
