the damn scratch-n-dent got me again ... i returned the swingout for being fawked up, and there was these shinny things in the corner
does this count as a mobile work station?? i liked how they turned out for sure ... but had a little "adjusting" to do. they were loose so i had to grind em down with a flap wheel. SO not worth whatever they are new, just kinda worth what i paid s-n-d.

GOT SOME GOOD INFO!!!
so i called SmityBuilt just now to get some of those little plastic washers and the c-clip ... figured wtf, i'll complain a little. i finaly got the full scoop as to why this crap doesn't fit! they started out making the stuff in the good-ol USA, and have now shifted production to CHINA!! well the good USA parts and the crappy CHINA parts won't work together. i guess the metric conversion kinda sucked. well there are no more in stock from the USA built ones, so i'm up chit creek. now i don't mind making my own, but that's still kinda crapy!

ok, so i have a lot more stuff to do then i really have time. Chad catches me online and says the swingout is now in scratch-n-dent ... told him to mark it sold. didn't take me long to find something else i needed while there
my hood jumps a lot on the highway and one of the plastic legs was broken on the pass side. bought some stainless hood latches to at some more shine and function better.
didn't take me too long to mod the swingout to fit. the american made bumper is much better quality then the china made swingout. sux they had to change over ... a still need to buy some hardware since even after having them send me more from what came in the box, still not enough.
pics in the sun tomorrow
