Just came across this article on Four Wheeler's web site: "5,000 Frozen Miles in a Jeep": 5,000 Frozen Miles In A Jeep

The Jeep in question is sporting a pair of these side mount jerry can holders...

Default more pics

Then I got new fenders. Now they act like extra fenders when I have them on.

Kicking up rocks and road work hot asphalt into a fuel can-what can go wrong? Maybe place a barrier?

the fronts of the cans are actually heavier-gauge steel welded to the can...but, yeah...maybe should mod the fenders next!

I have to agree with jeepmojo, I like em' up higher. The other version still looks good but you don't get the full 5 gallons and they're more likely to get banged up by boulders sitting where a rock slider would typically be. My 2 cents.

I just ordered 1 for each side for my scepter cans. For the price they could at least add some damn ratcheting straps....

The MORryde side mounts come with black ratchet straps.
