I know there is other stuff out there specifically for the soft top. I wouldn't try something unless you know it will work. I will search and post a link when I find the soft top cleaner.

installed the Smittybilt bracket on my XRC rear and HOLY CRAP! it's like getting a whole new bumper, the damn thing opens and closes without grunting or straining, and no more wear and tear on the latch. (which they also sent a new one to replace my chewed up old one) I am amazed at the difference this thing made. Wish it would've started out this way.

LOL.... I am looking to see if anyone has changed their exhaust or even the transmission mount. if that was all move back even on just one side it would improve it. but yes it is a large problem right now. so I have gears, superchips programmer, front driveshaft, move exhaust and/or transmission mount.... am i crazy?
