Got my Aries aluminum fenders mounted and led side marker light.

 

how was the install? How do you like fitting? I'm thinking about going with some Aluminum ones. Tell me what you think.

Here's what my last three weekends involved

 

I kept and trimmed the inner plastic fender support and on the front section there is a place for a push tab. So I drilled it out to fit the light and wired it into the factory plug. The light body is threaded with a nut so it fits perfect and tight.

I thought the install was fairly easy. The quality seems real nice with the powder coat and the aluminum. I went ahead and ordered a Astro riv nut tool from Amazon with the fenders. I think for front and rear with the tool and led side lights it was around $700. The tool makes setting the nuts very easy and tight. The fenders all matched factory holes with only one extra hole to drill in the rear. I had to modify a couple washers to fit but nothing major. Probably a 3-5 hrs job if you take your time.
