Hmmmm, I've used back to black and even the tougher degreaser one in the past and they didn't look that good. I think I need to bite the bullet and go aftermarket. The problem is with the price of the ones I like. I just can't swallow the $1200 for fenders.

Default Over the last few weeks

New to the group and bought the Jeep about a month ago. In serious need of help lol. So far, I have replaced the tailgate hinges with Morryde heavy duty ones, replaced the sacked suspension with 2018 rubi Recon edition parts (good for 2” in he front and 7/8” in the rear). Replaced fog lights with LED cubes, installed Fishbone windshield bracket light mounts and LED cube flood lights. relocated the license plate with the help of Kentrol 80703 Backside mount. Replaced rotted hinge liners with delrin ones, replaced tattered rubicon decal on left side of hood. Replaced left rear door lock actuator and link rod(inadvertently repaired the power door lock not locking problem as well). And finally installed a set of 12” subs (MTX TNP212DV). Anyone looking for a decent sub with high level inputs( uses factory sub wiring for signal) i recommend this kit. No line out converter needed

LED cubes. 1/4” flat bar with a 3/8 step up bend, drilled single hole through steel inner bumper.

Narrowing the front bumper

Hinge update

Prep work is the most time consuming part of the whole process

Slight upgrade.

The fit and finish of these hinges is amazing.

After the suspension update. Not sure if the old coils were clapped out, but gained 2” in the front and 7/8” in the rear. Headlights needed adjusting afterwards.

Spare grille off of Kijiji(like craigslist)
flat black primer and paint courtesy of Dupli-color
new grille and daystar hood latch rubbers installed
the windshield brackets were rusting so they got stripped and blacked out. also installed Fishbone light brackets and some lights i had kicking around
the Kentrol license plate relocate kit is awesome just use better connectors than the butt connectors they provide. (or at least heat shrink over them)
the license plate LED light is bright enough to be used as a back up light

coming along. ideas or templates for fender trimming anyone?

sub install. used factory sub wiring to high level inputs on the amp. saved some time and money. only really needed to run signal wire from under dash (pink/white stripe), remote wire to bass control, supply from battery, and ground cable to seatbelt anchor. anchored the sub to the front edge of the storage cubby. used 10mm rivet nuts, silicone to seal the new holes, and aluminum flat bar to mount to the subs.

Got new tires so naturally, it needed a slight lift/level. Before & After.

Installed a RC 3.5'' lift along with some 35''x12.50x16R toyo open country MTs. looks great! cant wait to get it out, waiting on figuring out why I cant turn left since the install though.

I miss having access to a lift.
