JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Are they locked in at all? What would stop someone from just grabbing them when you have your doors off? and are they water resistant at all? Sorry if I sound pessimistic, I just haven't been able to find answers to these questions.

I mean, the tailgate will/may fail wayyy before the holder itself will detach from the door...
Its basically just a simple solution to the tailgate warping from the weight of a heavier wheel on it, I'm not 100% sure on whether or not it relieves any stress on the hinges; an MBRP tech would prob have better answers than me. I just couldn't afford a rear bumper/tire carrier right now and I wanted a little more piece of mind about the added weight back there.

there are some you can buy that have a flap that zips over the screen and hides them. Might be worth looking at too.

they lock just like the stock headrest and are not water resistant. There are also some thick wires you would have to cut to remove them. You could just run waterproof seat covers with the top and doors off that would protect them. worst case senario your out only $190.

Default Defence package

Installed my self defence package - Streamlite Ultra Stinger and charger under drivers seat and hard wired into 12v outlet wiring - holster that came with my Springfeild XMD and bolted it into my center console. Love the way it all came out.
