2 door vs 4 door
I'm young and chose the Unlimited. I love the extra room, being able to sleep in the back, haul extra gear, take a comfortable road trip with my buddies, the look, and it wasn't much more money. As for zipping around...I have no problem with it. I just feel guilty sometimes when I drive alone (which is most of the time) and have all of that room...but the times it does come in handy it's really worth it.
I wanted a 4dr, the misses wanted a 2dr, so of course we got a 2dr. The 2dr is pretty spunky, and parking is amazing. I do like the traditional look. The only reason I wanted the 4dr was for cargo room. My old Metro had more room than the JK does.
4 dr, because :
My offroad/safari trips usually last from 3 to 7 days, so i sleep in it and need this extra space for my gear and things. Turning radius is not so bad, can't remember a single time that i was not able to do the same trails as SWB.
More stable to drive on and maintain speed during longer safari trips on dirt roads.
Past year i got 32000 kilometers on it. Of this 7000 km was on safaris (dirt/backcountry roads), and maybe around 300 km real offroad where i had to use low gear and low speed. So it means about 1% of my driving is real hard offroad time so unlimited is the way to go for me.

I started out with a 2 door and because of family reasons had to upgrade to the 4 door for space. I absolutely love both of them but really wish I would have just went with the 4 door in the first place. Awesome wheeler and alot of room...

We're looking at mods now, so you won't be finding my parts at the junk yard in 25 years!! try E-bay next spring!
