My answer is the 2 door, due to the fact that I've had multiple Wranglers, and am familiar with wheeling a 2 door. The 4 door has great function and you can take more buddies with you. So they are both great for people with different agendas. Overall though: 2 door.

It was simply an issue of storage space for me as well as easy access for passengers. My daughter has troubles with agility and muscle tone, so climbing in over the seat wouldn't have been an option for her.

Hate to say it was basically a issue of practicallity, but it was.

Cheers

I am buying a 2 door. It's zippier. more agile, more fun to drive and when you take the doors off, there are only two to deals with. When the half doors come out, I am planning to get them and 2 are cheaper that 4. Also the soft top seem easier to deal with.
That said, I have rented a 4 dr Rubi. and had a lot of fun with it, but the 2 dr is even more fun.

The only drawback is finding one. I have been looking for 2 weeks and can't find one with the options and color I want. It would be easier to go with a unlimited, that for sure...

i like the look and feel of the 2dr. its more classic, plus i had no need for the 4dr, with the rear seats out i have enough space for things.

I am all about the 2 door!!! But you have to be careful, the 4 door folks get touchy about there rigs. I asked a similar question yesterday and got some pretty interesting answers.

I really like both actually....but ended up with the 2 door, just got a better deal on it at the stealership....but if we had more in the family I would have went with the 4 door. Both look good and drive about the same to me
