VOTS doesn't show my VIN, but dealer said he has the VIN and will email it to me today. Just wondering if my schedule so far is normal or ahead of the curve. This wait is going to kill me. I sold my 07 2 door the day I placed my order, so I have to share my wife's car till I take delivery. Good thing I can drive my police car to and from work.

 

From what I heard Rubi's are still on restriction saying that only customer orders will be built. Orders placed by the dealer for dealer stock will not.

 

Ordered 1/30 (according to dealer, only took 3 weeks to get to that point ), first email 2/3, second email 2/9, ....
I'm reading all these post about a ~4 month wait, wondering if I'll get a '12 when the '14's are out.

D1 means that you are scheduled for the actual build. Once you are D1, you should have an estimate for a ship date and/or build date (which are within a few days of each other, assuming the inspection comes out clean).

We ordered out 2 door Rubicon on 01/31 and got the first email from Jeep on 02/14. Still got no VON or any other info. Sounds like I should ask the dealer for the VON number, correct???

If you got your 2nd email on 2/9, I bet yours will be built next week. Your dealer should have some dates for you as the second e-mail means you are D1 status.

Yes, I think you need to call the dealer for VON and VIN.

 

Yes, you can get your VON (Vehicle Order Number) from your dealer. They had the number the day your order was placed in the system by them.
