Congrats on your order. We are in the same boat. I ordered on Feb 11th. I am scheduled for production and have my VIN as well. It's hard to sit and be patient. It's kind of like watching paint dry.

Default No news.....

I'm confused how Jeep is saying my Jeep hasn't been built and my dealer is saying they're 99% positive it has because they already received an invoice for it... yet neither Jeep nor my dealer can give me even a ballpark date on when it's shipping and/or arriving.

VOTs still shows 'production scheduled'. My salesperson says he wouldn't be surprised if it just showed up within a week randomly. I'm wanting to sell my truck but can't really be without a vehicle. Is it really too much to ask to get some kind of decent system that shows whats up with your order?

Take what I say with a heavy dose of salt, as I'm not sure on any of it, but it sounds like you are stuck where I was a week ago. I originally posted in this thread because I had the same frustration when I was told I was supposed to have been built on Jan. 18, but it didn't happen and nobody had any clues or estimates after that.

I don't believe your dealer is accurate on it being built because they have an invoice. If it was already built, it would be in the system showing that and you would have ship date estimates. They should also know precisely when it was built. The Jeep numbers you can call would likely have this info (or part of it) and your dealer should have more accurate dates and estimates for arrival. If they don't have any dates for you, you are not yet at D1, only D.

I wish I had better news for you, but I suspect your salesperson is not being entirely forthcoming. As I understand it, an already built Jeep can't get totally lost. I highly doubt it has been built yet. On a bright side, you weren't far behind some of us JKUR's who just got word on Thursday we are going to the line end of the month. I suspect yours will be early March and you'll have yours in about a month.

Yeah, I think you're right. I don't believe I made this cut of JKUs to be built and it will be a little while longer... which sucks but it is what it is. My dealer told me they had a guy order one less than 5 days before me and he already took delivery of his (last week) - the only reason I know this is true is because it showed up on the site as regular stock (in transit) and I called and asked about it and they told me it was already sold to a customer.

I guess we'll find out. I'm one impatient mofo!

Well, again, it is supposed to be a "just in time" assembly. Since you have the exact same order as mine with the exception of the soft top (which we know isn't holding it up), I doubt you "missed" this run. I think you will be in this batch of JKUR's that has been held up for so long, but maybe a week or two behind a few of us.

Well, after ordering Oct. 12 and a painful 4+ months my 2 door Rubicon is finally on a rail car. Now I can start getting excited, they told me it is scheduled to arrive on March 5 which would be pretty quick to here from Toledo. Fingers are crossed.

Did anyone give you an explanation as to why it took so long? Hearing of all of these long wait times is really bumming me out. I sure hope my order doesn't take that long. If it does, I guess I will have my dealer keep an eye on the stock at nearby dealerships to see if I find anything I like.

I was never given an explanation other than the fact that it was a Canadian order and that they only do Canadian runs every so often. I don't know if it's true or not.

It's been frustrating seeing how fast most peoples orders have been getting built while I waited for months without any info. I'm happy now though!

Good deal. The fact that it is a Canadian order may explain the long wait. Congrats!!
