The cans in the bumper are just crush cans to act as a buffer to absorb shock from light impacts that would otherwise trigger the airbags.
for the guys that have ordered a '12,
did you work your deal for your new 2012 with a trade in? if so how does the dealer give you a value for your jeep for the future?
Im in vegas and am not super impressed with the deals i found here when buying my 2010, (and other cars ive bought in the past). The dealers here dont have that much competition, and its too far for most people to drive for better deals. But Ill do it.
So my question is, can anybody recommend a good dealer in SoCal or Phoenix that I could try to work a deal with on a 2012, even a name of a sales guy would be helpful. I'm planning on a 2012, but don't want to get ripped (too bad).
Many thanks...

BTW, I'm in Vegas too. I prefer Chapman Jeep, I think its a decent place. Let us know how it turns out if you were to buy from there, because I'll probably order my JK from there.
So was my dealership correct saying that the 2012 JKU I ordered the beginning of this month would be finished and shipped by July 21?
I could have sworn they werent even starting to build until 7/25....

I can't wait for someone to get their 2012. I want a hear the comparison of old vs. new.
They moved up the start building date a few weeks ago to July 18. There have been other rumors that some people who ordered early will see their Jeep by the end of July.
