I don't know which way to go. Buy a V6 Rubicon or a diesel Renegade. They are both the same price. New Zealand details in link below. This is the power of the diesel 460 N.m @ 2,000-2,600 rpm the new V6 347N.m @ 4300. The old V6 was 315 N.m @ 4000 rpm

Anyone know if the first builds of 2012's are coming from left-over frames intended for 2011's, that being why none of the colors have changed yet? I am curious at what point the plant will roll over to the new colors, and why they aren't available on the first build line.

I could have sworn they werent even starting to build until 7/25....
My tracking link still shows an estimated dealer delivery date of July 22. Have absolutely no idea how accurate that is or if even possible but I'm holding out hope for at least an early august delivery!

My understanding is that color selection is still limited due to the disaster in Japan. The plant that produces automotive industry colorants was impacted and it may take a while for them to get back to full production capacity. Until they get back to full production, they are concentrating on filling orders for the most common colors first.

I get a sinking feeling to think of what would be happening now, if Chrysler were still in the boat business.

I can tell you that most here would give their left testicle to have the Diesel for the torque and MPG's. US regulations (environmental protection agency EPA) have blocked most Diesels in the US to date.

Got my VIN and estimated ship date, 7/21/11. D1 Gateline plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned. Stoked!

Yea, dont really know about that one...I like my Sahara with them. Honestly I plan to do flat fenders, so, if I dont like the painted ones the flats will come sooner than later. I havent really seen to many faded JK flares but I hated them on my TJ's.
