So when the engine and tranny go bust in my JKU Rubi in 2017 & the lifetime warranty is inacted....will they have discontinued the current minivan motor and pop in a penta + 5sp auto >??? thoughts?...mounts, hoses, ECU flash..throttle down

 

Maybe, but I would hate to have to wait until 2017. That and by then the Pentastar will be on its way out.....

I stopped by the dealers today to chat. I brought up the TL program and mentioned 2% below invoice. At that point the manager said,, we don't give back rebate money normally and walked off leaving me with the sales person.
I told the sales person,, fine,, I will tell you exactly what I want along with 3 other dealers and the low price has a cash deal,, period.
I would just bring the new jeep home,, switch out my bumpers and wheels & tires and sell my jeep.
The salesman went in and told his manager who then said,, Ok,, we will sell you a jeep at the affiliate price and split whatever rebate there is from TL 50/50 with you
By that time I was a bit ticked and said I would sleep on it. I'm tempted to just do the 4 dealer route like I have bought my last few rigs and be done with it. And now that I see prices will be out Friday it might work out.

No. The next status requires the car being built. That won't start until 7/18.
