2013 Wrangler changes
I read somewhere that 2013 model year Wranglers were going to get chassis improvements. The article was a discussion with a Chrysler person and the basic theme was 2011 (2010?) gave interior upgrades, 2012 was the new motor and 2013 was going to be the chassis. There was no mention specifically what kind of chassis upgrades were planned but the engineers were moving to that area since they had taken care of other stuff.
I might have read it on Autoblog or Jalopnik. I can't remember where, exactly.

I could see the Hemi since the new auto tranny is mated to the Hemi in other models. Looking to buying either the 2012 Rubicon Unlimited or wait for the 2013 models to come out to see the changes. As for the diesel, with the diesel prices as high or higher than Premium gas ( at least in FL) I don't see the savings advantage. The torque would be a different story!

If waiting until the 2013 model year made you happy, great! But I've been enjoying mine trouble free for the past 16 months as many others have.

The sleeve that the frame side bolt goes through. Those sleeves are REALLY thin at the flange. Maybe the factory over torqued it. I doubt the sleeve holds one ounce more than 125ftlbs. The flange cracked and allowed the sleeve to go into the frame bolt whole and start to wallow out the hole.

^^^thats with 700 miles on the jeep.

^^^this is the good side of that sleeve next to the JKS. Note that the half metal you see on the factory sleeve is a flange and does not continue through the whole bushing. The JKS sleeve doesn't have a flange, I'd say it's four times thicker than stock. It was a good piece of mind upgrade.
