Are you talking about the "boot" it was shipped in? That is supposed to be thrown away. The actual boot that you order from Mopar is made of the same material as the top. If that's tearing you should probably talk to your dealer.

It looks awesome but where is the advertised 15- 20 HP gains?

I wish I would have saved the extra loot for the Borla.
Do you go with the headers? I bet they would have done more than the exhaust.
These engines already have the hp and torque on the high end and I can't imagine dual exhauste but pushing it higher if anything.

Without a doubt wheel spacers are my biggest regret. I wheel pretty hard several times a week and I have snapped a wheel stud off one and in general all of the studs arent the highest quality. very shoddy and heavily corroding.

If you don’t mind my asking. What brand did you get? I like the looks of my Moab’s and was planning to keep them with 1.5"spacers and 35" rubber.

I just gotta chime in and say I, too, like this thread. Kind of a "Not what to do".

Default Biggest Mistake: Skyjacker 4" Lift

My biggest mistake was getting a Skyjacker 4" lift. I've spent more money and time in fixing the jeep than the lift cost. Even stupider mistake because my mechanic told me to wait a few months for Teraflex's lift to arrive and I just HAD to have my lift. Lesson learned.

My favorite parts by the way are the bumpers from Mountain Offroad. They did a great job!

Default my list

for starters what a waste of money the safari top and duster cover are. i think i had tehm on my jeep for a total of three days. it rains here to many days out of the year. they are forsale cheap if anyone wants them. 150 for both.

next would have to be first production full traction lifts. my swaybar disco's are noisey as hell. i was told they were prototypes and i can't stand them. i am going to have to order new ones at my loss so i am up for suggestions.

third skidrow skidplate. nice design and great idea but after i have heard of the vibrations people are getting from where it hooks up to the engine mounts i am a little reluctant to put it on.

WHEEL SPACERS: I'd like to know as well, thanks. Corrosion?
