NJ has that law too, then the town I grew up in goes and puts picnic tables back behind the town hall/police department for them to congregate so you cna pick them up in the morning

07JKX is right... you can pick one of those up pretty easily... they're usually hanging around outside Home Depot and Lowes... "Looking for work? Trabajo?"

probably cheaper than any accessory you could buy that would do the same thing, especially if it comes from Chrysler...

but seriously, automatic soft top = very much NOT a Jeep thing

I saw a Wrangler that had a power folding top before done by one of those companies that does convertible conversions on other vehicles. Besides the obvious dislike for such an idea, when the top was folded back it didn't quite fold together as tightly as the manual version. Meaning it only folded back 2/3 the way. It looked absolutley ridiculous.

it is kind of a good idea for those soccer moms that want to put the top down but dont have the time maybe they should just offer this on the 2wheel drive models and for the 4wheel drive ones make up for the automatic top by putting in a hemi or dana 60's front and rear either one works

Come on folks Lets see a show of hands who think Chrysler/Jeep will be around in its current alignment if at all in 2012...

Nobody has a clue past the next JK built what is going on with future models.

Okay... here's where I get torched...

I'm a short woman... 5' tall.

It is difficult for me to put the top back up (down is nothing) by myself. So, I hate to admit it, but I like the idea of a power option.

I won't be running out to get an after-market power top, but I can still see why some people might like it.

Flame on!

Yeah, that was it!

I think people may like the 'idea' of an auto top but the execution so far has been horrible in my opinion. It's like why put the top down if all you do is build a fort for the kids in the backseat with those ape shit high sides?? Plus they want $3,000 for it and anything other than black is another $400 making it $3395!!! At least offer Tan as a base color.
