Still holding up, even after offroading a couple times. It's peeling slightly near the edge of the rim and rubber, but you'd have to really look for it. I'll prob paint them at some point, but for a couple $6 cans of PlastiDip and 40 mins of my time, it works for me.

Thanks for the info. Did you scratch your wheels up to prep them prior to Plastidiping them? Or did you just clean them and spray them?

Thanks. I really want to bedline them but I may do the plstidip this time due to time and weather constrants and see how it holds up. Can always touch them up or redo them later. ALso if I plastidip over the white lettering will that look funny or peel off fast, any ideas?

Just shoot the wheel and any overspray will peel right off tire. Plastidip takes getting used to. Nice thing is, impossible to mess anything up. Just peel off and start over. Be careful when you peel off overpray tho. It can form a film between overspray and wheel and will want to peel off in one piece

Just prep/clean with some denatured alcohol and then spray. Works pretty good.

Plastic Dip looks nice and a good idea if you are not 100% sure you want to go black. How ever bed liner will hold up much better and is very easy to touch up and not notice the touch ups.

I just did mine last week.Click image for larger version

I agree. PlastiDip method takes very little time & effort, and it's temporary. Bedline def holds up better.
