I like dealing with Quadratec, of course they are close enough that I don't pay for shipping.

All IMHO You must understand that all the fuel needed to deliver to your home is filtered down to the shipping charges. Somewhere someone has to take responsibility for the cost of delivery. Think about that. This could be why some drivers are parking their rigs in lieu of taking shipments - the cost of business is too high for some. Boycott on a national forum is a bit harsh, especially for someone who sponsors our favorite forum. If you do not agree with a policy of one company then because you live in America you can choose to go elsewhere. But also bc we live in America I have my opinion and you have yours, isnt it a great nation.

Fuel costs! Damn good thing they don't ship with a JK on 35s!

I typically order from David at Northridge as my first choice, but never had a problem with Quadratech and got really really fast service from them on the Hutchinson rims.

Quadratec is great!!!!! I have nothing but great service from them. Paying shipping cost is the cost of having it delivered and not being able to go to the store to pick it up. A price I am willing to pay.

ya i boycott quadratec for my own reasons....one being the fact that the have tshirts that were made for 1dollar in china and they sell them for 20 plus shipping. Also they are not true jeepers. quadratec is in it for the money, not saying there is anything wrong with it, but for me....id rather not buy from people trying to make a quick buck.

Obviously you have never been to their warehouse, a lot of the employee's vehicles are really nicely built Jeeps.

It's funny how people complain about shipping. As a one man operation whose buisness is 90% or more done by shipping I can tell you it costs me more to ship one item than it does to ship several. Myself and many other buisnesses cut you a break on ordering more than one item because the shipping costs usually do not go up more and overall we get more money due to the sales price of the items. In fact if I charged the true shipping cost (gas, time, packaging) of shipping just one item out the cost of shipping would be outrageous. Overall in order to make money shipping stuff you have to ship out a bunch of items (either picked up or trip to whatever shipping company) unless you charge three times as much as actual shipping (just postage or whatever UPS/FedEx charges).
