Check the Status of your Jeep JK Wrangler - Order Status Codes
Materials Restriction means that there is a needed part or option that is not available right now so they have put it on hold until that part comes in. They are not going to be scheduling any Rubicon 4-doors that have not already been scheduled until December Build Dates.
Did you read the rest of this thread? I talk about Rubicon Unlimited modles in length...

I should have explained more. The hold in which I had discussed could be what is called a materials hold. That meaning they are not able to aquire enough materials (parts & supplies) to support the scheduling of more Rubicon 4-door models than already scheduled.
The materials hold is not really a big thing. Everyone is in the same boat. I would assume it is due to the tire problem, which would constitute a materials hold.

Jeff, My 2 dr Rubicon went into D status on 10-3 and that is where it still is. I think when I ordered I heard rumor that October build dates were filled. Does that mean it probably won't change to D1 until the beginning of November? Any guesses?
It could change to D1 at any time. If it were in BX status and not yet scheduled then the "build out" would affect it.
in one sentence you have been more helpful than my dealer has through out the process,, and on the test drive, i treated the 4 door- jeep like a baby..

edit... its in KZ status built and invoiced!

first off I would also like to thank Jeff from Don A Vee for all his help here and in PM's . it's nice to have a person (dealer) on the inside who actualy knows what the heck is going on.
and I do have a quick question for you ( Jeff ) if my 4 door rubi is in "D" status then I should expect it done by the end of Nov.? I'm not exactly sure how long it's been in "D" status since I just put money down on it friday and it was already in D.
thanks
Danny

Sorry I don't have any info beyond that.
