Chrysler Recalls 300K Wranglers for Brake Fiuld Leak
I thought all they were doing was trimming the inner fender lining. So that they don't contact the lines. And if there is wear they are replacing the lines and cutting the inner fender lining
Was in for a oil change less then a month ago, service dept had the deer in the headlight look when I asked.
Guess they don't have access to the web, TV, radio or even newspaper.
Yet when I said HAVE A LOOK at my passanger front brake line, you can see what needs to be done. They didn't, back to their 'silo' i guess.
Sounds like I need to escilate. Wooopeee!

Took in my Jeep for an Oil change (dealer is free for life :<) And they looked up any recalls that might be out for it and found a new one: K13. Which is for the recall referenced in this thread.
They trim the inner fenders about an inch higher on both sides, add some new fasteners to stabilize it better and replace any lines that show wear. I had one brake line replaced. 2009 Unlimited- Auto. Took them 1.5 hours to do, it was their first time seeing the recall.

I took mine in last week for an oil change and there wasn't any recalls. Took it in again today to get a new steering gear put in and the recall was there. He said it was just put on the list last Friday. So, they're finally doing something about it.
