Let my wife take mine to the store the other day ( BIG mistake ) after she got back she says she wants one. So after we get mine payed down we start looking for number 2.

Now this could be a benefit or blessing in disguise... if you have a His and Hers Jeeps in the family... you can go 'wheeling' together as a family and not wait on a buddy's schedule!!!

Most (if like me) have to coordinate with other buddies so as not to go out alone especially since I don't have a winch!!!

 

WHAT?!?! With the weather we've been having, you don't have the doors off?

 

With my job i have to leave it in the work parking lot for 2-3 days at a time. So doors are a must you don't know who is around when your not :(

I became jeeper on Jun got JKU RH 1700km clocked now.
I and my family are enjoying topless \(^o^)/
The engine is silky and enough power.
I noted couple of engineering things.

head light is very dim than other recent vehicle.
oil cooler line on auto TX at bottom side is exposed no covers . I will hit and brake on trail maybe, fwd part of this line is touching and rubbing with TX, so I did bend pipe slightly to avoid rubbing.
Position of Charcoal canister is too low.
2nd row seat back stands up right, does not recline.
stock tire size is too small, looks like dachshund.
Inside of hard top becomes very hot on sunny day.
other are no issue until now.

I know everyone noted it but want to mod above issue first.

 

Good to know. Im at 1100 miles and I notice some increased pep already. WHen I drove it home from the dealer I was like 'for real?'.

 

Check out Hothead Headliners. I put em in a few months ago. Insulates the hardtop, reduces cabin noise and helps the sound system sound a little better. . Win Win win.

 

I have 1400 mile on mine and loving it. Can't wait to throw parts at it
