About a week ago while staging to go wheeling... A 2012 JKU owner approached us about the lifts that were on some of the rigs (his was an all stock sport)... I could hear his ticking while idling... Sounded like a bad lifter... Mine hasn't sounded like that.. Yet

Wendy - I didn't know you got the tick (sounds like some kind of disease!) I'm at 6000, still getting pretty good mileage and no tick. I feel like we took delivery within days of eachother (too lazy to look back in the thread ). We probably were built in different plants and maybe the motors came from different locations? At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Hey Wendy, you can update the info on my Jeep for your list if you are still keeping it up. After multiple trips to the dealer and having the Chrysler tech come out and look/listen to it and with a straight face tell me "i wouldn't worry about it". I got the bureau of automotive repair involved. Now my ticking went from nothing to worry about to them wanting to put two ( that's right [2] TWO, Dose [sp?])
brand spankin' new heads on. Waiting for them to come in.
