Then what can they do

Go ahead and put the dealer's name out here. Blast away is my opinion.
Damn straight, they used the media to get ammo on you...use it to sink them. Name that shithole!!!!

It's impossible to abuse a jeep on a trail and not break something. Have you had the Jeep serviced regularly, oil changes, etc? It sounds to me like a court visit might be in order. Something like this the dealership will lose. I've been to court a few times on auto related issues and invariably the judge goes with the owner, unless the dealer has abused parts and repair orders backing up his claims. At the least, a full refund should be in order for any monies charged for the warranty. A true warranty is NOT administered by the dealership. The dealership keeps a percentage of the extended warranty fee( believe it or not 50% is very common) and purchases a warranty for you with the manufacturer or an outside vendor with the balance. The dealership cannot deny you coverage , only the policy issuer. Now if the dealer sells you extended warranty coverage but elects to keep ALL the money, then they assume responsibility for covered repairs. If your vehicle runs beyond what they feel like absorbing, then you are likely to be ''cancelled''. Did you actually get an insurance policy? If not, then a little heart-to-heart conversation might be in order.... Remember this is NOT legal advice.
^^^^ All true.

Post the name and number of the Dealership and we can light up their phones for a few days.

I think extended warranties for cars are always a waist of money. I hate being jerked around by dealers and would rather take the money you spend on warranty coverage and put it in the bank. This way you can use it to do repairs with mechanics who are motivated enough to earn your business. I have never liked any dealership with any car brand I've owned, and would never trust them to basically pay in advance for repair work. I would fight to get your money back on the warranty, and have it repaired with someone you can trust.

WOW! I have often wondered how Jeep could deny warranty claims for off roading when they run commercials of jeeps off road and put a trail rated badge on the side.
I would suggest an attorney, however, once modifications are made it is easy for them to make a case that is is not a manufaturing ar material defect. If you read the fine print on your extended warranty my guess is that it will say something about modified vehicles.
I do not purchase extended warranties because it is my experience that there is always a catch; high deductable, inadequate maintenance, abuse the list goes on and on. Please keep us posted on how it goes and good luck!

Don't forget you can use their own commercials(jeeps climbing up mountains, through rivers, mud) and brochures and stick those in their face and see how fast they change. I know someone who did this and threatened to take a dealership to court and the dealership immediately changed.

Good luck. Dealerships suck.

Bummer. I have the same worry about my standard warranty and offroading. If you don't get any progress getting your warranty reinstated they should at least give a partial refund.

Were any of the problems happening when you were under the standard warranty? if so you have a case for them to continue working on them since they were not fixed properly under your standard warranty prior to your supposed "abuse".

Good luck!!
