get the JK
I've had 3 6-cyl Grand Cherokees & 1 v8 Grand. The v8 was a little quicker but the JK does fine & at highway speeds I can't tell a lot of difference.
I have 30k on my JK, when I manually figure the mileage(don't trust the computer) it averages 19.7. Not bad for a brick.
No leaks, 2 computer reflashes. I couldn't be happier.
P.S. I had much more trouble out of my 2000 Tundra and my dad's 07 Z71.

BUT YOU WILL HEAR NOISES AND HAVE LEAKS WITH THE TOPS
I had my JEEP for almost 2 years and still like going TOPLESS and spending every dollar I have on it.
