I went to ECU

No offense, but good... those wheels are majorlly distracting to me, and agree they shouldnt be allowed... If you like them, good for you, but no need to cause other beat issues...

I pulled someone over for running a stop sign. He didnt have an insurance card so I called USAA for him and talked to them, found out he had valid insurance, then still wrote him up for not having proof.

I agree with the ticket - those are the dumbest looking wheels ever...IMHO of course.

I always enjoy seeing stories where the 'one' with the power can't think for themselves. After all it is the law.

Tell the court attorney to drop it. If he doesnt, take it all the way to jury. For one, those are not lights and the wording has nothing to do with safety.

Were the "cops" on bycycles? Hehehe.....

This is a case of two people who both have small johnsons meeting each other.

There must be NO REAL CRIME around there. The kicker is that the cop doesn't understand the code. Read it again, it clearly states "...It shall be lawful to equip any other vehicle with a similar warning light including, but not by way of limitation..."

I for one would let you keep the lights. Lights and bling like that make it easier to recognize the morons.

I'm glad I live in a city where the cops are too busy fighting real crime to bother with chickensh@# like this.
