EMERGENCY!!! Please read!!
Because we were told that you had alot of water in the Air box, I would not doubt that your mass airflow sensor has been damaged. Unfortunately a simple visual inspection may not reveal anything but then again you may see that the little wire is damaged (very easy to do). I would disconnect the main fuel line and have someone just turn the key over. If you are getting fuel out then it's not your pump. I'm not sure of where the fuel filter is located but you may want to replace that as well. Keep in mind that I am not a mechanic now if you cut a hand off then I'd be able to help! Best of luck to you and your jeep.
I do remember that my MAF sensor was bad, but you couldn't tell by visual inspection.
X2 what 101 said. Whatever you do please STOP spraying the either! You are doing nothing more than eating a hole in the top of at least one of your pistons. This I can garauntee.
You are definately getting spark - no gas. Sorry, process of elimination with several of the other posts suggestions that are related to the fuel system is about the only thing that will get you up and running providing there isn't already some internal damage.
My apologies if I haven't sugar coated it but figured it's best to shoot straight. Get it home and take your time figuring out what's needed to get fuel to the cylinders.
Good luck.

The Sentry Key Immobilizer System prevents unauthorized
vehicle operation by disabling the engine. The
system does not need to be armed or activated. Operation
is automatic, regardless of whether the vehicle is locked
or unlocked.
The system uses ignition keys, which have an embedded
electronic chip (transponder), to prevent unauthorized
vehicle operation

not quite sure why you quoted me, Im not the one who paid for one. But Burnsville is NOT giving them away. They are selling them and have been since Jan. They also sold a lot of them to a salvage yard because they had so many.
For anyone that has had water problems in the fuel. There is a better solution than dry gas. Draining the tank would be helpful to make sure there is not dirt in there... but to get rid of the water. You need to try a product called K-100. It will absorb water at a 1:1 ratio. It's about $20.00 a quart. We sell this stuff at my work. I've seen it in action. 2oz. of water and 2 oz of k-100 made 4 oz of burnable fuel. Passed the litmas paper test. No pink. K-100 is a fuel stabilzer product. It is safe for all fuel systmes and tanks. There are other water eliminating products out there... but none work as well as this stuff. Stay away from most of the others... They absorb the water and make balls of sludge in the tank that clog up the works. We had one boat come in that used one of those products and the tank was junk.
They also make a K-100 D for diesel.

On my Ranger that I had before my JK I was able to test the MAF sensor by disconnecting it. It didn't run well, but it did run. I don't know if this would work the same way in the JK or not, but just a thought.

thanx again for all the replies with help, ideas and info. JEEP people are the BEST!
I sucked water in on sat 26th ...well into the air box from the holes in the bottom, the drain holes I guess
the filter did get soaked and my jeep would run up to 2000 rpm normally but anything more than 2000 it was like the esp was on and cutting out cylinders or fuel it had no power, it would rev to 3000rpm but nothing after that
I'm interested to see if the MAFS is able to detect water and regulated the engine
in case of water ingestion
I opened the air box and water was all over i tapped out the filter and put it back in went and had lunch came back 30min later and all was fine
this is the second time this has happened to me
Until I get a snorkel I will not be going though water under 1/2 to full throttle where engine vacuum can suck water in
there was no sputter as though the plugs were wet
as I said it seemed the pcm/ecm was controlling the engine to not have power above 2000rpm
