Default First Jeep purchase. Mods to follow.

I just bought an '08 JK and couldn't be more pleased with it. This thing is in cherry shape and is a dream to drive.

Now...I've got a lot of wheels turning in my head on what to do. The first thing I've purchased was a hi-lift jack. This is such a versatile tool I wonder why I never had one when I drove Subaru's. It will be most obviously used as a jack and secondly as a winch. The Off-road kit is soon to follow as well as the mounting kit.

On to more major mods, I've chosen steel bumpers as my #1 priority. I feel that Warn Rock crawler front and rear bumpers would be my best choice due to the fact that I should be able to pick up the front and rear for about $1400.00 Not only do these look great but they'll enable me to use them as a jacking point with my Hi-lift. (have a suggestion on a different bumper? let it fly)

Second priority will be flat steel fenders. The fenders must be wide enough to cover my stock tires. That is a very important requisite. I refuse to drive a vehicle that cannot pass Pennsylvana Inspection.

Other accessories/toys will follow but these are the most important to me as of now. Suggestions and opinions are welcomed and greatly appreciated. This is my first Jeep and have definately fallen head-over-heels in Love.
Also, suggestions on where to find great prices on accessories is appreciated.

Congrats on joining the club. You'll definitely never be bored with you're girlie.

Some good websites for parts:

www.quadratec.com
www.4wheelparts.com
www.northridge4x4.com

Also get a subscription to JP Magazine. It's just a good idea.

I like the Warn bumpers as well.
You should get a snatch strap for recovery purposes. It will come in handy.

Some other mods to consider:
Wheels & Tires
Lift Kit
Lights
Linex the tub

Have fun!!!

ARB bumpers, looks, rugged, work well with your impact systems, winch lights, and best of all your new hi-lift. Welcome to the club.

I've been very happy with CSEoffroad.com's prices. They ship super fast and still have free shipping on purchases over $100

My favorite mods are the homemade ones.

Congratulation on joining the club, looks like you are going to be just as busy as the most other people on here picking out parts.
