I hear ya, nice breeze on a hot day...........
I just discovered another thing I love, hitting puddles with your foot hanging out...it is a shock when you don't see the puddle

 

ill hang the feet out while cruising around but always wear sneaks(damn bugs and rocks), ill pull the foot in on trails though, id hate to lose anything if i ever roll and dont have the chance to get the limbs back inside. As far as the breeze w/ the shorts im all for it but im a little cautious due to the rock and bug problem. God help anyone who catches a bee up thiers.

 

Glad to see I'm in such good company on this. No pegs for me - I have little feet (with painted toe nails, usually in flipflops if I'm not out on the trails ) so I just sit my heel on the doorsill or my foot on the rail. Bill kept making fun of me for sticking my foot out, but last weekend I caught him doing it on the passenger side!

I have a habit of pulling my foot in when I pass a cop, though. Guess it feels so good that I'm afraid it's illegal.

 

hmmm.... I have a kilt at home (bagpiper). Dunno if I wanna try that one thought....lol

I couldn't answer the poll, none of the answers match mine. no I'm not scared or nervous. I just don't like the doors off.

 

I've had the doors off for the entire week so far and don't plan to put them on for at least a few more days, finally got a good week without rain. I keep the foot out when ever the doors are off.

I saw an aluminum foot rest in the craft fair that went on the bottom hinge, looked pretty good and functional, I can't remember who made it though

 

I bought the Jeep to replace my truck and my motorcycle, you have ot have highway pegs... I am sure to that those that hang their foot out the door are primarily automatic drivers also....

I love the wind between my tootsies. However, I have to limit it to freeway only due to the stick. I even wave with my foot lol
