I need to give a thumbs up to Hothead Headliners. I ordered and received a headliner kit for my 2 door JK. I ordered it with the side window pieces too. When the order arrived it was only the pieces for the top. I send them an email and they replied quickly that they would get the missing parts out. About five days later the missing parts arrived. I installed all the pieces with no issues. I don't know about the heat reduction yet but it is definitely less noisy. Thanks guys, anyone can make a mistake, you did a great job of making good on the missing parts.

I installed mine a few weeks ago and these have been the best mod I made. Made the cabin almost borderline quiet at all speeds. They reduced the heat especially here in Dallas with the last few weeks over 100+. I love these things and they were super easy to install especially with the Velcro.

Dallasjku... Mine will be delivered tomorrow. I'm in FT. Worth, so I know about the heat. Damn near burned my hand the other day on the interior panel. Can't wait to install

What a Great Product!

I've had my JKU for about 5 weeks now and this was my first official mod. I received my order on Tuesday and installed the headliners this afternoon. The install was easy and the fit perfect. My wife an I are leaving for Florida in the morning and I am sure that this will make the trip much more pleasant.
Thank you Mark for the fast delivery and a terrific product!

Daryl

My best suggestion is to let these things air out a little. Mine had a strong odor which was not bad but it was just strong. At least leave windows down as much as possible.

Default Hothead Headliners Adhesive

Hi,
I've read in the last few post that some of you are concerned about the adhesive holding up in the mid-summer's sun. The 2 products we use to attach our headliners, a 3M VHB tape & a adhesive backed Velcro, both have an excellent track record. We have been using these products for 4 + years and have had a very small failure rate. We are talking about thousands of headliner kits with AZ & TX being our biggest selling states, so you know those kits are getting hot. The temperature rating on both products is 220 degrees F. The hottest I've measured my hard top is 170. That measurement was taken in Phoenix, AZ. after my Jeep was sitting for several hours in a black parking lot with an outside temp of 115 F. My hard top actually reaches close to that temp sitting in the So. Cal sun when it's only about 90 out. I guess that black hard top will only absorb so much heat from the sun.
Also, and maybe more important, is the fact that if anyone ever has a problem with our headliners I will take care of it. I work very hard to keep an excellent reputation here. My phone number is posted all over this forum and it is my cell number not a number in our shop that only gets answered during business hours. I get very frustrated dealing with most companies customer service dept, so I make sure that my company will never be like that.
As for pictures, CLICK HERE to go to the Hothead Web Site where you can see tons of pics.

thanks for listening to me ramble,

Mark

I couldn't recommend these headliners and Mark enough. I've had the complete kit in my 2011 JKU for about a year and they have been amazing. Having a new baby made controlling the interior temperature very important in cold and hot temperatures, with the hotheads well exceeded my expectations.

As for Mark...I wish more companies were as good to deal with. I had a minor issue and Mark replied to my email about 10 minutes after I sent it with the perfect solution.

Thanks again for the great service Mark.

Chad
