My neighbor is a complete JERK about his cat...I asked nicely,,,thought about all the crazy options spelled out earlier posts and decided to try the sonic noise makers..

I bought these sonic noise makers and put 3 of them in my back yard. Upon motion detection they emit a hi pitch beep that actually messes with my ears too. You can set it for cat, dog, deer etc.

It works! This was the only way to keep the cat out of my yard and Jeep. And as a side benifit birds stay away too. When the top and doors are off I put one on the spare tire pointing into the JK.

For you cat owners have some respect for your neighbors who do not want a cat in their yard or Jeep. It really sucks that this turkey neighbors cat hates his kids so the cat stays on my side of the fence.

Rand into a guy years ago that had a beat to hell Jeep. Always drove around with his dog leashed in the back. Talking to this guy outside at the bank one day and his dog squats and pees in the Jeep. I mention to him quickly that his dog is peeing and it doesn't phase him one bit -- tells me it keep the critters away??????? All I could think of is every other dog in town peeing on all his tires as they smelt the scent of another dog!

I know it sounds mean but go ask your neighbor again to keep his cat on his property or at least bring it in at night and if he gives you any crap just call animal control they will handle it. I had to do that once with a neighbors dog shitting in my yard all the time and a neigbors cat shitting in my daughters sand box. Caught both in the act taped it and showed animal control. Needless to say my neighbors got the point and keep there shit in their own yards now. Also I realy can careless if I get along with them or not. It's your property, you bust your ass to pay for it and the neighbors shouldn't take a piss on it. Screw that! Your alot nicer then me.

Default Same problem...

I have the same freaking problem. My siblings have 3 cats and they say they are outside cats, but all they do is sleep in my jeep in the garage and scratch up my seats!!! I beat the crap out of one and it kept it away... For a night. Now they are all back and I have to put the top and doors on EVERYTIME I come home. What a pain.

Piss in a circle around your Jeep? Get the biggest mouse traps you can find?

I have smashed the crap out of my rear stock bumper, the undercarriage of my jeep looks like someone took a giant cheese grater to it. I have ripped off my front and rear fenders. I have only 11,000 miles on my jeep. And you guys are worried about some hair and a few fleas. I am more worried about the giant spiders that have moved in since I removed my rear widows several months ago. Seriously, and you guys wonder why TJ drivers make fun of JK drivers on some other forums. I understand H2s have a top and windows, dont need to worry about the kittys soiling your fine interior with one them. Rant over.
You must not have read this thread thoroughly. I do not have a problem with the cat hair or any type of dirt or mess in the Jeep. I DO have an issue with the cats spraying my jeep. This happens EVERY night that the Jeep is not covered in some way. Driver side floor board, passenger floor board, driver and passenger seat bottoms and backs, rear bench seat back, the back of the front seats(how is that even possible) and of course the rear floor boards. For anyone who has experienced this, this is a TERRIBLE odor that is very difficult to get rid of. Luckily, I always have my drain plugs out and I live in AZ so I can easily spray out the interior with a high pressure washer and iit'll dry in the course of the day, but I get tired of doing that EVERY day. Its most agravating when there is cat piss on the driver seat, resulting in you smelling like cat piss for the entirety of the day. IT just drives me nuts... I might have to try to high pitched sound thing though...

They have pissed in my car... I had my rear windows in the trunk and they sprayed on them. And they are clawing up my seats. That's just irritating...
