It is a losing battle. Unless you are more skilled then they.

I'm just very thankful that this didn't happen to me.
I'm very allergic to Cats.

I can just see it now: I jump in the jeep not having a clue what happened while I was away and start to drive. About the time I start to pass the Jr/High school on my way out of the neighborhood my eyes swell shut and I stop being able to inhale.

Maybe I stop, Grab my EpiPen, Give myself an injection and everything works out fine after missing a day of work and paying $125 to have the interior cleaned.
or
I go into shock, hit the gas and kill a busload of kids.
I'm sure the parents would understand. Cats have the right to roam. People like me should be locked up.

We have and allways have had cats and dogs around here. Its kinda sad that just because some people dont like a certain animal they want to kill them all. I could see if it was a stray tom spraying in your Jeep or something but its a neighbors pet. Does that way of thinking make it ok for your neighbor to suddenly decide they dont like dogs, walk out front and blast your dog the face with a 12gauge? Just wondering.

Ive got a cat that actually enjoys riding in the Jeep. (top on only) but when Im working on it or my truck hes in there watching the whole time like a kid. Acts like a kid, dog, cat, monkey all combined. Plays fetch, comes when called, can climb anything with no problem, speaks when spoken to, and actually minds when commanded and pouts when in trouble. Picked him up on the side of the road and the coolest part is he has thumbs and uses them to pick stuff up and hang on to things, its pretty wild. Tryin to teach him to fetch me the tools I need when Im under a vehicle lol

I have never known my neighbors dog to jump in my jeep and spray everywhere...

I'm not encouraging the killing of any animals, I'm just saying that the parallels seem to be inaccurate...

I don't know if its a neighbors cat or a stray, I just know its been around the area for a while and I rarely see it...

I probably wouldn't kill or harm the animal. Just probably take it to the pound.

Here's a thought. How would people feel if they had some homeless person squating on their property and peeing and crapping everywhere?

Harbor Freight has live animal traps for under $30; rule of thumb "if it's got a collar it goes to the pound, if not it gets the hose".

I went the cover route on my Jeep only to find holes in the cover and scratches in my hood from the cat kneading. Plus it was a pain in the a**. Will have to try the cayanne pepper. I need to have a solution for this soon cause I am not gonna let the cats get the best of my JK like they did my TJ...

We have heard, that if someone were to say, ambush, the cat one night as it approaches the Jeep, with a wrist rocket(s)and some paint balls, non leathal, biodegradeable, paint balls, target said cat, limiting your force to not injure, aim for the butt, and shoot at the cat, with love and the hope of educating it in regard to its error. I know its work you should not have to do, but, teh owner seems irresponsible and unable to take or train their pet.

After a couple of wacks with a "non Leathal and non injourus" method, albiet semi painful and disruptive, the cat will associate ambush to jeep and question its decision in the future. If when you see the cat you use such method, it could further dismay the cat enough to have it avoid you altogether. Not saying I know, but I have heared this works with squirrles and geese as well and none have even a scratch but absolutely are not frequenters of a specific venue.

two thoughts of my own, don't shoot the cat while it is front of your, or your neighboors house or your Jeep, or your neighboors jeep if they have one

Disclaimer- the author likes cats and all of gods creatures, just not all of em all of the time, the author does not advocate harm, just education. some might not agree and get upset, but for those who are pro cat faction, most do not want the cat harmed, cats are just fine, but no one, not even the most ardent cat person wants there valuable things they work so damn hard for, pissed and crapped on, especially not by somthing thats not even a wife/husband or child.
