I think I've met your "natural born killer dog" and I don't believe it for a minute!

I'm gonna have to go with the obvious and say, "the cat needs to go, by any means necessary."

Well said! I'm the same kind of guy...

Same here, I thought I hated cats until I happened upon one who needed a home. Now she's a part of the family. Runs to greet me at the door when I come home, sleeps between my wife's and I pillows and loves to play fetch and "tag your it" .

For those of you saying its irresponsible to let a cat "roam the neighborhood", have you ever tried to keep a cat indoors at all times?? As Im sure that you havent, it is a pain like none other. Cats, and no other animal for that matter, were never meant to be inside animals. Just because someone doesnt keep their cat locked in the house at all times, does not mean they are being irresponsible or just feeding strays. All cats are different. We have had cats that will only go where you go when they are outside, and weve also had cats that will roam all day long and come back at night, and some that stay out at night and come back in the morning. A lot of you believe its okay to just kill these animals because they are annoying you, and I agree that at some point taking strong action may be necessary, But stop to think that you may actually be killing someones pet here.

My advice, try to see if you can find who the cat actually belongs to. If you explain the situation, you might actually get cooperation. Maybe post signs advertising a found cat. If you cant find an owner and cant get rid of the problem, catch the cat and take it to the pound?

Im sure a lot of you are saying "Too much work, just kill the cat", well thats fine but if it was your pet Im sure you would be thinking differently.

I have a dog if, someone kills it, I will kill their children. Don't care about the prison terms.
Not sure if you were talking about me, but for the record I said the neighbor would not see it again...didnt mean I would kill it. I was actually thinking catch it and "relocate" it or bring it to a local shelter (who would prob kill it anyways). On the other hand, whats the big deal? If people let their cats out to roam I figure they must not care anyways...

I still hate friggin cats

Then maybe cats should not be pets if you cant keep them indoors, ever think of that? I dont bring in the friggin racoon from outside and heve it sleepin in my bed...If the cats dont want to be inside, dont you think its cruel to try and make a pet out of em??

I also picked up a $30 car cover from autozone. Its size 5(largest one for cars) because the SUV one was $70 and I already spent $160 on a bestop trail cover. The $30 was much easier to put on and I think itll work ok(only weighs a couple of pounds) My jeep kinda looks like a cafeteria lunch lady with a hairnet now though...

I just wish the cat would stop coming around, but with a cat having already peed in it, I'm sure its a target for any cat in the area...

Awesome, loving my $40K litter box/cat home

Default Cayenne Pepper

What I have done to keep the cats off is sprinkle a generous amount of cayenne pepper around the jeep. They learn very fast not to hop up in there. I did it 1 night and never had to do it again.

This thread is hilarious. Never had the cat problem, but I can see where it would REALLY be a problem!
