Well, I had an experience with my '11 soft top yesterday. I have had 2 TJs both with soft tops and they were a breeze. I have had my '11 JKU now for two weeks. It was very nice out yesterday and I decided to put the top down. I did not watch the DVD or read the owner's manual. Holy christ was I cussing that top! What seemed worse was trying to put it back up by myself. I got it down and folded up right, but was my first time dealing with a sunrider top. going back up though, was a mess almost scratched up my doors and everything with the top flexing so much and going outside the rails, just seemed very flimsy. Seemed like a two person job on the JKU. So when I got in the house I searched on here and found a couple of videos, most I found were of two people doing it. Then I finally found a video of one guy doing it by himself and see a couple of the things I could have done to make it easier.

I was saying to myself before watching the videos that I did not think the top would be coming down very often if I had to have someone to help me every time. I will put it down again later today and hopefully it will be much easier.

I think you did the right thing. I can only hope a fellow jeeper would help me out if I'm obviously not doing something right.

Prior to owning my own jeep I would borrow my friends and that was the first thing he told me; make sure I wave and ALWAYS wave back!
Sadly... back in 2009 the dealer (salesman & others) didn't mention the Jeep Wave to me or my wife. Luckily I knew about it already which makes me wonder how many Jeep owners are there that don't wave back even know about it?

Thinking back...I learned about the Jeep wave long ago in the Jeep dealership from a brochure thing they had there. At that time I had a tacoma (but a jeeper at heart b/c of jeeps in the family while I was young) , and I tried to introduce a tacoma wave. needless to say, that didn't really work out. I love every part of owning my Jeep, and I love the recognition and respect among jeepers. I wish I could find this brochure. Maybe I'll try to google it.

The 2011 Jeep® Wrangler 4X4 offers the ultimate in capability without compromise. Wrangler comes standard with an authentic Jeep® style of life as well (you're going to love the Jeep wave).
