I don't take the time to explain the infatuation to anyone. It's a hobby, a lifestyle, and if that falls on deaf ears and a retarded brain... c'est la vie.

Jeep people seem to take things easier than most, sort of a relaxed cool. They seem to understand what it's about, spending time out and about enjoying the great outdoors, hanging out with friends enjoying the view, just making it all work.

No..its not for asking questions. Its about phrases that mean something to you about what "Its a Jeep Thing" is.

I've been Jeeping since I was 5 yrs old and I"m 47 now. You do the math. I may not remember the first couple of years but from when I do remember I've always noticed a lot of fun and people just getting along and making life seem easy.

It's everywhere I go and everywhere I've been.

You've been doing it wrong for 13+ yrs. Hows that?

I'm not disagreeing with you, just asking about the etymology of the "Stay Frosty" phrase. I was interested in knowing what it meant and where it came from. My bad.

Are you somehow implying that since you are fifteen years older than me that it comes along with sage-like wisdom that should never, ever be questioned or inquired upon for clarification? If so, that renders a site like this entirely useless.

As I stated in my original post. I don't try to explain the Jeep thing to anyone, save for that it's a lifestyle. Perhaps that is why they don't understand it... it's not their lifestyle? I don't know of any euphemisms, analogies, or metaphors shared amongst my direct Jeep community. There's the Jeep wave. Outside of that, general inquiry of modifications, trails driven, and wonderful experiences.
