Default List your Jeep related pet peeves/rants here.....

Thread rule:
Your Peave/Rant must be life stories and somehow Jeep related with a humorous slant. I'm not looking for this to become a Jeep baching thread.

Here's my contribution...

Something that really lights me up is when someone displays complete disregard for the property of another.
Here's my contribution:

I'm at the shooting range yesterday.

As I walked up to my parked Jeep, I noticed 3 guys standing between a truck and my vehicle. The door to the truck was open and up against the fender of my Jeep. I asked of the group, "Is it your door that's leaning on my Jeep?" One of them smiled and answered "It's just barely touching it" as he shows me about an inch between his fingers. I replied, "I guess I'm just barely bothered then", as I showed him about an inch between my fingers.

He shut his door.

Coworker hit my fender with their door at school. I was sitting in my car at the time. When I confronted him he responded, "what's the big deal, it's just plastic?". My response was "about $1000 to replace them too. Insurance card please.". Seems you can't buy just 1 from dealer.

At my work there are 4 other wranglers, 2 fj's and 2 tacomas, all of them like the idea of going off road, but when it comes to actually going........
Only 1 fj is game, unless you count a dirt road as going "off road".

It still boggles the mind that Chrysler put fenders that are so porous, easily stained, and hard to clean, on a vehicle that is intended to get muddy....

The people in JKs that don't wave. Jeep made them luxurious and family friendly (which is fine, I have no issues with it) and some people who buy them have no knowledge of Jeep culture or intention of learning it. Prime example: the wave. I don't care if you own a new one that 4 door, low, 2wd...whatever. Just wave please. It helps make my day a little better each time someone waves first or waves back.

I am thinking about replacing the fenders for that reason alone.
