LoD vent thread(necessary)
Well in my mind if you ordered from Northridge, why were you ever worried about calling and dealing with Lod? Just email Dave and you'll get your answer in a few minutes.
That's kinda why you order from someone like Dave, so you don't have to worry about calling or dealing with the other people.
Just my 2 cents.

I dont know what company doesnt answer email these days.... but its not suprising that you didnt get ahold of a fab company on a friday on a long weekend... id be out fishing and the message would say so...
So this is purely to vent my frustrations, you've probably heard this story before.
I ordered my lod front a rear bumpers on April 10. I was told that they would have a 4 week lead time. Which I was fine with. I decide around three weeks into it, I would email them to see how they were coming along. No reply! The next day I email again, no reply. (who doesn't communicate electronically in 2010)
At this point I'm annoyed, and I call David at north ridge since he had just received an order from lod. I call David to see if he has them in stock. David calls the guys from lod and they call me within ten minutes of me hanging up the phone with David(I shouldn't have to call another vendor to get a hold of the one I initially wanted speak to, out of fear from a cancelled order). Lod requested for future communications I just give them a call instead of relying on e-mail. They also tell me that I could expect my bumpers on May 10. Ok!
May 10 rolls around and I decide to CALL to see where we are no answer, I called about 4-6 times and left 2 messages on the 10 and 11. They never get a hold of you. Any time I've talked to anyone it's because someone just happened to pick up. Finally get a hold of someone and they tell me that I should get the front by the end of the week and the rear the beginning of the the following week.
So long story short, I received my front, however it is the 28 and have still not received my rear. I called at about 4 o'clock today(well within there supposed hours of operation). And no calls back once again.
Anyway, sorry for the rant, I just think that lod really needs to brush up on there communication skills. And be much more fourth coming on lead times. Had I known I need to wait 7-8 weeks I probably would have dealt locally with shrockworks. They make a bad ass product, and if my rear comes in and is anything like my front I'll be stoked. It's 2010 time to star learning how to email your customers.

Guys I assure you we are working as fast and as hard as we can. Our powder coating process has been changed and is taking longer to get stuff out the door. We have also changed our packing to make sure everything arrives in good condition. We would rather your product be perfect when it arrives, and it is taking longer now. On top of that we are just backed up due to orders last month and are working on getting back on schedule. If we don't answer that means we are on the phone just call us back in a couple of minutes. We are bring in new machinery this week to help with the backlog also. As always call us with anything you need and if we don't answer just call back.
To the OP: Sorry to hear about the hard time you are having getting your issues resolved.
I can speak from my limited experience (one purchase) with LOD and say that the two issues I had (missing hardware from Fed Ex shipping = torn box, and my spare not fitting on the carrier due to being oversized = my fault for not mentioning what size tire and wheel combination I was running) have both been handled in a professional and timely manner.
Both David @ NR4x4 and Chris @ LOD answered when I called, responded to my e-mails, and they fixed (or are in the process of fixing) both problems. Both NR4x4 and LOD get a thumbs up in my book.
And, I am REALLY digging my bumper / carrier. Front Mid width from LOD is in my very near future!

I think the reason someone might need to contact LoD even though purchased from Northridge is dealing with a install issue. In my case I did have a concern with the install of my sliders and called Dave first. But after talking with him he suggested calling Chris with my question, which I did.

Reading your last line, that is what would make me nervous dealing with you as a customer at all. "As always call us with anything you need and if we don't answer just call back." How many times is a customer suposed to call you back? It's your business to handle orders not the customers. Who is suposed to manage an order, the company or the consumer keeping your company in business? Just keep calling back... really that's your best response?
I would say none of this speaks to the OP's issues with your company. Did things happen the way he claims or not and are you pleased with how you delt with a paying customer? This is really your chance to answer his complaints and accusations.

Do you have anything from LOD ? You'd be nervous from dealing with someone because of this. I've learned there are 3 stories, his, mine, and the actual truth. So this is a vent thread for LOD customers. Are you a customer or just someone trying to play internet Dr.Phil?
