15 months and no problems, yeah I would do it again!

 

Had mine since April. 2008 4-door Sahara.

No problems at all.

Would buy again in heartbeat.

 

I should add that my roof leaked maybe twice.

Both times were because I didn't get it quite right.

Not saying that others with leaking roofs are doing it wrong. I'm sure they are folks with real problems. Anymore I just have to make sure I get right particularly between the doors.

If everyone put in their model year, you would probably see that majority of the ones with problems are the 07's, because that was a new year/total redesign for the Wrangler. Every complete new redesign has problems that need to be worked out. Although Jeep probably should not have had that many. I'm looking for the thread that had the poll in it about the problems. There were over 400 people that took the poll and there were only about 50 that had problems with their JK. I will post it if I can find it.

"2007" No problems

 

My biggest problem was the water leakage past the soft top and half doors. My biggest peev is the weak engine. I have had mine over 20K miles and yes, I would go back and do it all again.

 

We've had ours since July 2007. No problems. I do get the clicking brakes mentioned on the first page, but only during serious offroading But, to me, I really don't think that is a big deal. I love my Rubi!!!!!!! There is just nothing else like a jeep (especially 2 door IMHO) I had a TJ, sold it for a Dodge Ram. Then the JK's hit. A little wider (perfect, because the TJ was a little too skinny inside for me) I simply had to come back. (Once a Jeeper always a Jeeper)
Is it the greatest ride on pavement? No. Does it handle like a car? No. Is it the greatest on gas? No. Is it even remotely fast? No. Does it have the greatest interior? No. Does it have a lot of storage space? No.
Is it Possibly the best four wheeler out of the box you can buy? YES. Is it bouncy on bumps, and leans in corners, But that just seems to add to the coolness?(and fun factor) YES. Is it a nice feeling when there is a major snowstorm, and you just get to enjoy it because you know you will make it home? YES. Is it possible that it is the most fun to drive vehicle on the road? YES. Is it fun to feel like you are " In the club" ? YES. In a wierd way, does it feel like you are driving around a really cool sportscar, except this sportscar can go through (or over )pretty much ANYTHING? YES. .........You know what? GO BUY ONE. You'll see what I mean.
