Nope. I don't speed in the Jeep, especially not on the highway. I enjoy to cruise around in it. If I wanted to haul balls I would be in something that doesn't have 4WD as capability.

I don't speed often but if I'm even going 5 mph over, don't realize it and hear the radar, I immediately check the speed. It happens. Plus I just like to know where they are... although it only goes off if they have it on... obviously.

I know many times I have been a little over the speed limit and heard that thing go off well before the cop was in sight (ie. around a corner) and it has saved me a ticket. Paid for with one warning!

My gf got pulled over for doing 41 mph in a........... ready for this... not 25 mph or even 35... but 40 mph. ha ha ha.

 

they are illegal in most of canada including ontario. Not something i'd likely have in a jeep anyhow since it isn't much of a speed demon. Just something else to clutter up the dash.

I've never pushed the speed limit on purpose so I don't feel a need for a R. detector.

 

V-1. Use it in the other cars...hardwired in...just habit!

 

i used to do 10 over no problem in MD, but for some reason i won't push it in SC
