Default Waiting to see if I get screwed...by RANCHO

Bought the Rancho 4" sport lift on friday 08-27-2010 to make sure I got in on the 500.00dollar rebate .......later found out it has been back ordered for Black ( red isn't in stock either) and the Extreme deal ends after the 31st. I called Rancho and they then advised me to call the rebate department because they weren't sure, so I did. They tell me I will be alright as long as my internet order states the date......

( I'm thinking Im about to get screwed..... shit!)

Ill let you know how it turns out.

You should be fine. I wouldn't sweat it at all. Did they say how long the kit is backordered for?

shouldn't be more than 4 weeks... (which really is not bad)

Rancho really makes great products........I just hope customer service is up there with it, that 500. 00 dollars is to help with my 35's.

I suppose I can ride on roller skates (32's) till I save up some more money.

I've had the rancho kit sitting in my garage since last month. Waiting for my rebate. Not gonna install the lift until I have 35's installed ... I'm not interested in the roller skate look ...

A mechanic friend recommended the Rancho 4" Sport Kit to me. Couple that with the rebate and I was convinced. The B/O issue and rebate issues I see here are making me think twice. I know I only have until tomorrow to order.

Somebody is going to have to step up with a big testimonial for me to pull the trigger tomorrow.

I can't speak for the back order ... but I did call the 800 number ... they verified they had my rebate entered into the system and there are no problems with the paperwork. They showed me getting $500 visa check card. They said I should have it 8 to 10 weeks from July 19. FYI .. I ordered all the parts from Amazon and I sent Rancho all of my packing slips.

As far as the lift ... there have been several guys that say they love it ... so far no negative feedback. I'll let you know in a few months when I get mine installed ...

I've got a friend of mine who has the same kit on his 07, and I swear it rides better than my 2010 stock does.....its not the quality of the ride i'm worried about....500.00 dollars is 500.00 dollars, and would keep me form getting my 35's for a while. If I get screwed on this I'll be so F'n pissed cause these guys will have flat out lied to get a sale....and will have screwed me out of 500 bucks.

It is illegal to offer a product at a reduced price, then charge the higher price because it went back-order and was delivered after the sale ended. It's false advertising. The exception would be if the advertisement was clearly labeled as being for an item that had limited availability ("while supplies last"). Rancho is a legitimate company; you should be fine.

You should be ok, you just need to purchase it by Aug 31st, you have done that. The rebate form needs postmarked by Oct 1st. So you have a whole month.

1. Purchase a qualifying Rancho product purchase (referenced above) and get a Rancho Debit Card for the dollar amount specified next to the qualifying purchase. Offer does not include installation/labor costs or taxes and offer is good only on qualifying products (see below for list of qualifying products). Offer valid on purchases made

Upon fulfilling the requirements below, Tenneco will send you a Rancho Debit

Waiting for someone at RANCHO to verify that they will not honor the rebate if it is back ordered and no sales recipt has been obtained. It states in writing (in two different places ) that they are not responsible for anything sent after OCT 1st.

Called Quadratec ....They are still trying to get ahold of RANCHO.

Can someone from Rancho clarify what the deal is?

what can we send you , If they don't charge you until they ship the product????

Its nice to tell me that yeah rancho should back it up ( because you ordered it in their time frame , but technically you didn't pay for it in that time frame)

...but in legal terms it's in writing that they wont!!!!!!!! Not just once , but twice.
