Not your fault Joe, you seem to take care of your customers pretty good.
Free shipping is for any of the continental US addresses, but I can get a reduced rate for international customers as well. The canadian rates may seem a bit high, but the method we use bypasses brokerage fees, which could make it more expensive on the backend.

I'm feeling better about the company. I think some of the "backordered" status is overblown. My experience is that I ordered 2 items on January 12 and got a confirming email saying the items were backordered. Nevertheless the UPS guy just delivered the items today, January 18. I could hardly ask for any more speed than that.

I had to pay brokerage fees thru UPS. That was the extra $48 I got dinged for. No worries, I won't deal with any companies that use UPS for deliveries, as I feel I paid enough for shipping ($300 order, paid $99 for shipping, and got hit for $48 extra costs from UPS).Please let this thread die a quick death guys and gals.

I placed a phone order with them yesterday and t at the end of the order process told the guy as a forum member that we get free shipping. Of course he acted surprised and told me that in order to receive free shipping I would have to deal with whomever was the forum rep but just this one time would go ahead and do free shipping the whole time being sarcastic trying to make me feel like an idiot. Funny thing is the Procal showed free shipping on the website anyways. I look at it like this, Joe can't always get back to me right away so if I want something I don't want to wait a week to find out if it is in stock and then have to wait on a quote number. I spend roughly around 3k per year on my Jeep. If they want to have this attitude with me when I call in and basically make me feel like an idiot there are plenty other places I can take my money and not only always get free shipping but sometimes better prices as well and last but not least actually act like they care they have me as a customer.

If anybody knows a vendor who has the daystar switch panel for 11 and 12 JK's let me know. I have been waiting since December for mine from Quadratec.

Wish I went there.....prolly wouldnt have spent 1/2 the price of my order in freaking shipping costs.

I apologize sorry that the sales rep treated you that way. I have told them numerous times that if a forum member calls that they are to give them free shipping on their order. Did they happen to give you their name? Also, on the invoice you'll receive with the order, it should say "thanks from ___". If you could PM me the info, I'd greatly appreciate it so that I can ask them to be a bit more nice to the forum members!

Per Daystar, these shipped out to our warehouse on February 1st. Should be here this week and shipping out within 24 hours of receipt.

I know it isn't your fault. You shouldn't have to apologize on behalf of one of your sales reps. You have always handled things whether it be on this forum or another forum for me. You can't run Quadratec by yourself!
It was a straight forward call to order what I needed. I know people have bad days but this guy had the personality of a stick and then when I mentioned the free shipping it went from him being a stick to being a stick with an attitude like he was going above and beyond duty to do free shipping. I like ordering with you all because it usually only takes a few days to get my things but it seems my last few orders have been not the greatest of experiences. Anyways, thanks for your help and wanting to make things right.
