I wouldnt recommend going into Mexico right now. I Live in El Paso (bordertown) and Its really bad over here. I dont even like looking in that direction. I would say to stay in the US and find some good trails here. theres plenty of them. haha

Yea I would agree its pretty bad over there, there was a story to day that 41 ppl were killed in 96hrs I have no desire to go over there ever

No offense, but your wrong.... Americans are specifically targeted. At this point everyone in mexico is fair game. Mexico is lawless and corrupt, if the drug cartel people don't rob you or kill you the Mexican police will try to take your money. It happens daily. Read the news.

Go to the justice departments website... They will show you areas for Americans to avoid to all over the world.

Good luck and if you do go don't bring your wife of daughters these people are animals.

These same "safety brief's" could be used just about anywhere in any state or country. My wife was born and raised in Tijuana and I've been there 3 times without a single issue. If you have common sense and Knowledge of the culture I don't see an issue. If I lived in your Area I'd deff be up for the trip.....

Local police can't do anything anymore. The Federaly's have taken over the police so the cartels have no influence on them.

But I still wouldn't take the family!

Im just going to ad something check this link i setup this trail for a weekend 60% of the people there where from san diego driving expensive cars with expensive rigs.
