I grew up just the other side of Eugene (Lowell area) and don't think I would drive to work without doors this time of year, but I have never considered this mod.... interesting.

36 degrees...hell no....but then again, I live in Florida....maybe I am just spoiled. Nothing below 50 for me to take my top and doors off.

I'm glad it worked for you. I had the same idea just never got aroud to trying it. The last wheeling trip I took with my son started out in the upper 70's and by the time we got home it was in the 40's. To keep warm he held his sleeve over the vent to get warm and at that point we had the same idea as you.
