36 Degrees and no doors? No Problem
I recently had the need to buy a new hose for the trusty shop-vac, so let's re-purpose the old one. The end that plugs into the vac is just big enough to fit in the HVAC ducting in the dash. Simply pull one of the center vents out and shove the hose in. Stick the other end of the hose (which you've probably cut to length) in your jacket and let the hot lava JK heater do the rest. I wouldn't necessarily say I was comfortably warm, but it wasn't too bad.
this exactly what we did when we would "deploy" to ntc. the hummers had no door or top, so we would disconnect the heater hose and put it in our gortex jackets
You're right. I sometimes have to wear long sleeve shirt and start thinking...man its hot...just to realize my left drivers vent is aimed right into my left sleeve. I do the same thing in the summer..loosen the sleeve cuff and crank the A/C....if the top isn't off of course
I've been topless yesterday, snow was falling and we had "hot" -4°C (24,8°F). Was real fun, everybody was watching

Today it's -11°C (12,2°F) and i'm thinking to drop the doors and have a trip door- and topless. I'll upload pictures of today and maybe a video from yesterdayin the evening

this thread has reminded me two things....
1)there are plenty of crazy people in the world
2)I don't miss waterskiing in Feburary
More power to those who want to freeze. I love running doorless/topless, but don't love it anywhere near close enough to freeze to death

I'm the OP on this thread- it was a halfway tongue in cheek solution and the hose has long since gone to the dump. It cracks me up to see that the thread is still alive. Not to sound like a candy*ss, but my other, more long term solution was to install the Mopar heated seat kit- awsome for those early morning commutes. And yes, the first time we're predicted to have afternoon temps 70 or above, the doors are coming off- I don't care how cold the drive in is
Yeah, that's my philosophy
"Have fun out there", that's all about
